Are You Living in Your Head? Here's Why That’s a Problem

Yesterday, during a healing session, I was taking notes when something unexpected caught my attention. I had written "Don’t feel with your head" instead of what I meant to write, "Don't be in your head thinking so much."

This small slip-up turned into a moment of reflection that really stopped me in my tracks. It’s so true—when we’re caught up in our worries, our tasks or our problems, we tend to overthink, overanalyze and disconnect from our deeper feelings.

We live in a world where logical thinking is emphasized. From a young age, we're taught to think our way through everything. But what if the answers don’t live in the head but in the heart?

Here’s the truth: you can’t solve your problems with a thinking mind alone but you can feel your way toward a solution.

Your feelings and intuition are your closest allies - they never leave you. They are a constant, guiding force, if only you’re willing to listen.

I’ll be honest: trusting your intuition is a journey. It takes courage, patience and self-compassion. There was a time when I didn’t trust my own inner voice. It’s a work in progress but every step forward brings you closer to the deep knowing within you. And remember, the sooner you start, the sooner you begin to master it.

So today, I invite you to pause and reconnect with your feelings. Trust yourself. You have all the wisdom you need right inside you.
